Join Tri-State Freethinkers and Tri-State Atheists with the Great Parks of Hamilton County staff and volunteers Saturday, June 15th, from 9 am to noon, to be part of the local solution to pollution as part of the 2019 Ohio River Sweep. We will pick-up plastic and other flood-deposited waste from the banks of the Ohio River in Fernbank Park, 50 Thornton Ave, on Cincinnati’s west side. The park will look beautiful and the wildlife won’t have to live in a garbage dump. Wear long pants, garden gloves, bug repellent, and shoes you don’t mind getting muddy. Not recommended for small children or people with mobility issues. Please RSVP to me by June 8th, and I will RSVP for our group with Great Parks.
