This is a pilot project for the Freestore and they asked us to help! They want to help serve more families in the Kentucky area. Here is what we will be helping with. Assisting with the setup and cleanup of the Pop Up Pantry
Organizing and stocking tables with food and other non-food items
Assisting customers as they shop and transport their items to their cars
Some light lifting is involved – up to 20 pounds. Accommodations can be made if needed. Please notify staff if you have any restrictions.
Training will be given at the beginning of the shift – no previous training or prior experience required!
Age Requirement: Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age to volunteer for this activity.
