Cheers To Ken Ham!

drunkDoesn’t Genesis mention Noah being a bit of a drinker and getting drunk and naked after the Ark landed?

A group of Dry Ridge residents would like to see alcohol sales all over Grant County, the home of the Ark Park project. They have started a petition drive to put the issue on the ballot. This initiative is backed by local businesses, and only 1700 registered voters are needed in Grant County to get this on a ballot for a wet election!

Dare we say this would even bring in more sustainable jobs than Ham’s nearly five year long Ark Park saga?

A group of Dry Ridge residents would like to see alcohol sales all over Grant County so they’ve begun a petition drive to put the issue on the ballot.

Darren Spahr, along with his wife, Kellee, is leading the petition drive.

“We are putting this in the hands of the voters of Grant County,” said Spahr, a Dry Ridge resident. “The people should decide the issue and we believe they will support it.”
Grant County businessman Bob Wallace is also involved in the effort and said alcohol sales will boost the local economy.

Currently, there are three locations where voters can sign the petition. They include:
• Dave’s Barber Shop, 33 Broadway, Dry Ridge
• Pro Image Cleaners, 118 S. Main, Dry Ridge
• Tobacco Mart, 26 Taft Highway, Dry Ridge
The effort for Grant County to become wet is being called “End Grant County Prohibition.” Registered voters can learn more about the movement, as well as download a petition by going to www.EndGrantCountyProhibition.com.
